COVID update: Number of active cases rises slightly again

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports that 14 more cases of COVID-19 were reported today against just three new recoveries.

Belize now has 137 total active cases of the virus with 120 samples under investigation.

Six persons remain hospitalized with the virus: three are fully vaccinated and three are of uncertain status. No new deaths have been reported.

Seven of the new cases are in San Pedro Town and two are in Belize City. The others were reported in Corozal Town, Orange Walk Town, Santa Elena Town, Hattieville, Belize District and Roaring Creek, Cayo District.
