By Aaron Humes: Earlier this year, popular disc jockey James “DJ” Busch was accused by cousin and close friend Marlon Chavez of beating him up for nothing at their deceased friend’s wake.CROP 1 AH pic of DJ Bush%252c James Bush%252c IMG_1203

Those charges were dismissed at the request of the complainant; however Busch is once again before the courts, this time accused of assaulting a woman who was trying to part a fight between him and another man at a Belize City nightclub.

20 year old Kyler Romero of Flamboyant Street alleges that 38 year old Busch threw his drink into her face and then punched her when she got between him and one Leon Flowers while they were arguing outside of Elements Night Club on Newtown Barracks around 3:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25th. Busch was allegedly carrying a firearm and the two men began to fight.

But Busch pleaded not guilty to harm before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer, insisting that he never saw the woman in question nearby during the fight, does not even know her, and he and Flowers settled their differences without the need for court action.

Without objection, Busch was offered and met bail of six hundred dollars and the case returns to court on August 30, 2016.
