Two injured in ugly motorcycle accident

By BBN Staff: Yesterday evening around 3:30, police visited Saint Margaret village between miles 34 an 35 on the Hummingbird highway where police saw a black and blue Lifan motorcycle on the side of the road.

According to reports, Jorge Rodriguez, 21, was traveling from Saint Margaret to Belmopan when he lost control and collided into the metal railing along the road.

Rodriguez was traveling with a female passenger. Both of them were transported to the Western Regional Hospital.

Rodriguez sustained a large cut to the left hand and a cut wound to the head.

The female has not been identified. She sustained a fractured jaw, multiple cut wounds to the head and face and superficial abrasions to the chest.
