Motorcycle men shoot two on Armadillo Street

BBN Staff: Police have today confirmed that two persons were shot in Belize City last night.

According to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Alejandro Cowo, a 15 year old minor and Ian Williams, 20, were shot on Armadillo Street in Belize City.

The minor was shot in the right leg and has since been treated and released from hospital while Williams was shot in the face and remains listed in a stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Police say that two gunmen on motorcycles rode up to the men and opened fire.

No motive has been established.
