AC technician charged for attempted murder

By BBN Staff: On Sunday morning, BBN reported on a shooting incident that occurred at the corner of Central American and Jane Usher boulevards, where a security guard was shot.

Tyrone Stevens, 38, was at a shop when someone fired several shots at him.

Yesterday, police charged Eric Mendez, an AC technician for the attempted murder of Stevens.

Mendez was charged for attempted murder, grievous harm and use of deadly means of harm.

Reports also indicate that police have recovered surveillance video from the incident.

Mendez was remanded until July 26, 2018.
