By BBN Staff:  Mission Cry, an American Christian Mission has sent down a container of Good News Bibles along with other Christian books to Belize.

Mission Cry encourages people to donate books and bibles to empower Christians and native ministries, and since its inception in 1956, they have been sharing God’s teaching tools all over the planet.

This week, they sent an entire shipping container that is filled with about half a million dollars-worth of Bibles and Christian books that ranges from Bibles to seminary books by Christian authors for Christian education.

The Mission Cry Ministry is on a mission to get enough bibles and books to put in every Belizean home and

this year, they met their goal thanks to many donations and contributions.

In an interview with Christian News Network, Jason Woolford of Mission Cry said that last year when the mission arrived in Belize, 700 Belizeans were waiting in line for two hours to get a Bible.

“When they got it, some of them cried, some of them fell to their knees, and children rejoiced. This is a real need that’s being met,” Woolford of explained.

The books will be distributed for free in Belize.
