Guatemalan woman busted with 336 grams of cannabis

BBN Staff: A woman will have to pay $10,000 or spend three years in prison if she defaults.

She is Guatemalan national, Ruth Naomi Ordonez, 39.

On Saturday, police conducting a vehicular patrol on Arenal Road searched a taxi in which she was traveling in.

That search led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 336 grams of cannabis.

As a result, Ordonez was charged with the offense of drug trafficking.
