Over 700 children get back to school hair cuts

By BBN Staff: The Belize City Council’s Back to School hair cut drive has benefited over 700 students.

The initiative was hosted for 3 days in 17 locations throughout Belize City.

The Belize City Council thanks Councilor Delthrude Hylton, Councilor Aisha Gentle, Councilor Dr. Candice Pitts and all barbers and hairstylists that participated in the initiative.

“Thank you to the talented barbers and hairstylists who worked with us to groom these children and even some parents this weekend. It was a pleasure spending this weekend with you. We wish you all success in this school year and beyond,” a statement from the council said.
