2 men sentenced to life imprisonment for murder of Steven Valencia

By BBN Staff: Today, Jarod Lamb and Marvin Neal were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment with eligibility for parole in 30 years.

Lamb and Neal are accused of killing Santa Elena resident, Steven Valencia.

Police report indicated that on January 24, 2013, shortly before 9 pm, Valencia was at his home on La Loma Luz boulevard along with his 2 children when his back door was stamped open.

Two unmasked men entered the house, one of the men was armed with a gun.

The men demanded money and fired several shots at Valencia in front of his children.

The official report says that the culprits ended up escaping with $7 from Valencia’s pocket.
