Police investigating death of woman found floating in Crooked Tree lagoon

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Crooked Tree resident, Diana Emerita Pott Jones.

This morning, police responded to reports of a body floating in the Crooked Tree lagoon.

There, they saw Jones’s body floating face down in the lagoon.

Sources say that there were no signs of violence on the body.

Jones was last seen around 5 pm yesterday swimming in the lagoon.

An investigation is ongoing.
