Warm weather continues, cold front approaching

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that mainly fair, warm and dry conditions will prevail during the next 24-36 hours, followed by a gradual increase in moisture and instability to set in as a cold front approaches.

The 24-hour forecast calls for generally fair with little or no rainfall expected.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 67degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be rough. A small craft caution remains in effect
for gusty winds and locally rough seas.

High tide came in at 6:41 a.m. and low tide will occur at 10:45 a.m.

The sun will set at 6:00 p.m. and the moon will rise at 1:05 p.m. p.m.
