By BBN Staff: A Guatemalan man is facing several charges including keeping a prohibited firearm, following police operations yesterday.
Geovanni Castro, 26, is facing one count of “Kept firearm without a gun license”, one count of “Kept ammunition without a gun license,” one count of “Keeping prohibited firearm,” two counts of “Kept prohibited ammunition,” one count of “Possession of a gas discharge weapon,” and “Breach of curfew.”
Police were conducting operations in Santa Cruz Village in the Stann Creek district yesterday when they discovered several weapons inside Castro’s home including a high powered rifle and a grenade.
