Belize Tourism Board endorses new health and safety travel magazine from McNab Publishing

By BBN Staff: The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) is endorsing the upcoming magazine “Tourism Health and Safety: The Gold Standard for Belize Travel,” being launched by McNab Publishing this summer.

The BTB said that the publication, which will contain travel industry guidance and safety policies for Belize, stems from a partnership with McNab Publishing where the company upgraded its upcoming travel magazine “the Belize Gold Book” to include enhanced health and safety protocols for the tourism industry post-COVID-19.

“Travel experts indicate that when global travel does resume, no longer will price be a determining factor in choosing vacation destinations; instead, health and safety protocols will reign supreme. Widespread education of these new enhanced protocols is key to visitors feeling safe to travel to Belize,” the BTB said.

The BTB said that travelers will have access to the information through both digital and printed mediums. The information will be made available online through the BTB and its partners and the printed publication will have both local and international distribution outlets and will serve as an official marketing tool for Belize as a travel destination.

“Through this partnership, we have been able to create a marketing recovery opportunity with McNab Publishing, which offers stakeholders advertising opportunities at significantly reduced prices to kick-start industry’s rebuilding marketing,” the BTB added.
