Moist and unstable conditions prevail

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that weather conditions will be moist and unstable today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly coastal areas this morning, inland areas this afternoon, and southern and coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 05-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.

High tide will come in at 10:49 a.m. and low tide will occur at 5:57 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:23 p.m. and the moon will rise at 8:09 p.m.
