Met Service: Warm temperatures will persist today

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says that the country will experience warm weather today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny today and clear to partly cloudy tonight. The weather will be mainly fair and showers or thunderstorms will be isolated and brief.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East between 05-15 knots and the sea state will be slight.

High tide will come in at 9:19 a.m. and low tide will begin at 4:17 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:05 p.m. and the moon rose at 6:07 p.m.
