Director of Health Services: 17 new cases of COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: The Office of the Director of Health Services has announced that from Thursday’s total of 91 samples processed there are 17 new cases of COVID-19.

Three cases are reported in Cayo District, in the towns of San Ignacio and  Benque Viejo.

The single case in the Belize District is from Belize City.

And there are 13 cases in the Orange Walk District reported from Orange Walk Town and the villages of San Felipe and San Jose.

Fifteen cases are recovered for a total of 255.

The number of active cases stands at 850 with 571 more under investigation.
