Belize Specialists Hospital closed until further notice after staff members test positive for COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The Belize Specialists Hospital Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Center informed that it is  closed until further notice after some staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

“We regret to inform that some staff members are positive for COVID-19 and we will take this time to quarantine and isolate,” the Center said in a statement.

The Center will be sanitized in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Health.

“We have been continuously enforcing safety and preventative measures for the safety of our patients and staff but regrettable the virus found its way into our facility,” the Center added.

The Center further urged the public to practice all preventative measures to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
