By BBN Staff: The Jamaica Observer is reporting that Caribbean Community (CARICOM) countries continue to see increases in the number of deaths connected to COVID-19.

Authorities in the Bahamas and Guyana are reportedly appealing to their residents to abide by established protocols to prevent the spread of the virus, as people continue to die from the virus.

The Bahamas has recorded 123 deaths, the latest of which was a 74-year-old male from New Providence. Meanwhile, Guyana saw three deaths within a 24-hour span, bringing its total number of deaths to 114. Two of those deaths were women aged 64 and 74 years.
