Was Floyd Carter the intended target of East Canal shooting?

By BBN Staff: There was a shooting on East Canal in Belize city yesterday, that cost Floyd Carter, 45, his life.

Reports are that Carter was standing with a group of men sometime after 5:00 p.m. when someone in all black approached them and opened fire.

Floyd was hit several times to the body during the incident and was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital but died from his injuries.

The Belize Police Department is investigating the matter.
