Belize Electricity Limited announces planned power outages in Orange Walk district this week

By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) has announced several planned power outages that will affect portions of the Orange Walk district on Thursday, January 7.

The first power outage will affect Tower Hill and Guinea Grass from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

There will also be two 10-minute power outages affecting  Chan Pine Ridge, Carmelita, and Santa Martha, between 8:00 a.m.-8:10 a.m. and 9:50 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

 BEL said that the outages will allow the company to install hardware on utility pole in the area.
