By BBN Staff: United Airlines will be expanding the number of flights to Belize later this year, according to Tropic Air.
United’s nonstop flights from Denver, Colorado, currently offered once a week, will be increased to four times per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
Nonstop flights from Los Angeles, California, will be increased to twice weekly (Saturdays and Sundays); while the nonstop flights from Newark, will be increased to four times per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays).
Nonstop flights from Chicago, Illinois will be increased to twice weekly (Saturdays and Sundays), while the nonstop flights from Houston (IAH) will be increased to twice daily, for a total of 14 flights per week.
Tropic Air also noted that seats thru mid-December are already loaded for sale on united.com.
The news is welcomed by Belize’s tourism sector, which is relying on increased visitorship to help rebuild the industry after the economic fallout caused by the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020.
