Belize City man survives shooting last night

By BBN Staff: A Belize City man is recovering at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) after being shot multiple times last night.

Police say that Walter Longsworth, 33, was socializing in a yard on Partridge Street, when a man passed by and fired several shots, hitting him to the upper body.

Longsworth is listed as being in stable condition.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
