Belize Electricity Limited sends crews to investigate unplanned power outage in Cayo

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) has dispatched teams to investigate an unplanned power outage in the Cayo district today.

The outage, which occurred around 12:12 p.m. is affecting all areas along George Price Highway from the roundabout with the Hummingbird Highway to Roaring Creek, Valley of Peace, and all areas along the Valley of Peace Road, Valley of Peace, Roaring Creek, Camalote, Teakettle, Arizona, Ontario, Buena Vista, Blackman Eddy, San Marcos, Santa Teresita, Selena, and Los Tambos.

The company said that it is working to restore power to the affected areas as quickly as possible.
