Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital clarifies that woman cited in missing persons post does not work there

By Benjamin Flowers: Today a post started circulating on social media regarding a missing woman, a Cuban national, purportedly a doctor at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH); however, the hospital has come forward to say that the person referenced in the post is not one of its employees.

The KHMH’s Public Relations Department reached out to the media to clarify that “This person does not currently work or have ever worked for the KHMH. She is not known to us in any context.”

Queries have been made to the Belize Police Department regarding whether or not there is indeed a missing persons report out for the woman, referred to in the post as Carmen Linares (Carmen Burgos); however, a response is still pending. The social media post also alleged a possible kidnapping.
