Belize Weather: Rain to go away entering weekend

By Aaron Humes: Drier conditions are expected starting later today, according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies will be cloudy at times with a few showers, isolated thunderstorms and periods of rain over central and northern Belize, decreasing and becoming isolated by afternoon.

High temperatures are 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 73 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate.

Tides will be low at 9:40 this morning and 10:03 this evening and high at 3:16 this afternoon.

Sunset is at 6:31 this evening and sunrise Friday morning is at 5:21.

Friday will see fair weather and isolated showers.
