Belize Weather: Fair weather prevails but showers will begin to affect some areas later

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says generally fair weather continues today.

Skies will be mostly sunny today and partly cloudy tonight with isolated showers only.

High temperatures today are 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland, and 72 degrees in the hills. Tonight, expect lower temperatures of 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 67 degrees inland, and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly to northwesterly at 5 to 10 knots and sea conditions are slight.

Tides will be low at exactly 12 noon today followed by a high tide at 6:08 this evening. The sun sets at 5:16 this evening before rising on Tuesday at five minutes past six.

Tuesday will see cloudy spells with isolated showers or light rain offshore and in the North.
