Wagiya, Caesar Ridge, Garden City out to shake up Verdes, Altitude, San Pedro Pirates this weekend in FFB Top League

The FFB Top League Closing Championship’s Week 2 features one game on Saturday and two on Sunday.

The top from last season, Verdes, Altitude, and the San Pedro Pirates started off as expected winning their matches in Week 1 and look the favorites again this weekend. But don’t be surprised if Wagiya, Caesar Ridge, or Garden City shake up the league.

Wagiya are out to beat the San Pedro Pirates at 6:00 pm at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan.

Wagiya opened the season with a 5-0 loss to Verdes while the San Pedro Pirates edged Belize City’s Caesar Ridge 1-0.

Sunday’s first game will feature Caesar Ridge in their charge to take down subchamps Altitude at MCC Grounds in Belize City on Sunday at 3:30 pm. This game will be the first top-flight match at the MCC in over two years.

Altitude are coming off a 2-0 over Belmopan’s Garden City.

In the final match of the weekend, Garden City will give champions Verdes a run for their money at the FFB Stadium on Sunday at 6:30 pm.
