Cayo, Toledo Districts lead COVID-19 table

By Aaron Humes: The Cayo District continues to head the daily COVID-19 table, joined by an unlikely contender – the Toledo District.

Cayo reported 38 of today’s 150 new cases, followed by 28 in Toledo, 26 in mainland Belize District; 20 in Orange Walk; 19 in Stann Creek, 13 in Corozal, and six in San Pedro Town.

By municipality other than San Pedro, Belize City reported 17 new cases; Orange Walk Town, 12; Corozal Town, six; Belmopan and suburbs, 12; San Ignacio and Santa Elena 9; Benque Viejo 3; Dangriga and Independence five each and Punta Gorda four.
