Two City men latest targets of resurgent violence

By Aaron Humes: Tonight, one Belize City is injured, another given a shock and two others are on the run from Police.

Just before 7:30 tonight, Kenrick Blanco, 26, and July Nolberto Barrientos, 22, both of Laura Dunn Street in the Antelope Street Extension area, were approached by two men coming from the direction of the cemetery.

One of the attackers opened fire on them, injuring Blanco; Barrientos avoided injury. The attackers then fled through the cemetery.

Police are investigating.
