Belize Weather: A change is gonna come

The National Meteorological Service says the run of fair weather is expected to end later today.

Saturday begins sunny and fair; however, showers and thunderstorms will arrive and increase over northern and inland areas later this evening, spreading to most areas tonight.

High temperatures along the coast are 88 degrees Fahrenheit; 95 degrees over inland areas and 82 in the hills. The low temperatures tonight are 72 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 64 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots and sea state is moderate with waves of four to six feet.

Tides will be high at 7:28 this morning and 5:38 this evening and low at 11:20 this morning. The sun sets at 6:02 this evening and rises precisely 12 hours later at 6:02 Sunday morning.

Expect cloudy skies with a few showers and periods of light rain over most areas on Sunday.
