Ministry of Housing hands over house in Guinea Grass, Orange Walk

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Government of Belize handed over a house to Yanuri Quetzal in Guinea Grass, Orange Walk through the Belize Modular Houses Pilot Project executed by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing said Orange Walk South area representative Jose Abelardo Mai, who is also the Minister of Agriculture.

“Miss Quetzal is a single mom with two children. She and her children will now be able to enjoy their own living space with very low payments to make,” said Mai in a social media post.

According to the MIDH payment on the modular one-bedroom houses, it is constructing is $100 a month.

Minister Mai and Minister Espat and on hand for the handing over on Tuesday.
