By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Team Belize attended a briefing on Monday evening in Belize City prior to travelling to Birmingham, England, for the Commonwealth Games at the end of July.

“Team Belize is gearing up for the upcoming Commonwealth Games, the delegation met at the Olympic House last night for a briefing on their trip,” said the Belize Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (BOCGA).
“14 athletes from Track and Field, Cycling and Triathlon will be representing our Jewel at the end of the month.”

The 2022 Commonwealth Games will be held in Birmingham from Thursday, July 28, to Monday, August 8. Over 5,000 athletes from 72 nations will be competing, primarily at the Alexander Stadium, under the motto ‘Games for Everyone’.
