One person detained after Bella Vista man left dead on roadside

By Aaron Humes: Police say they have detained one person in connection with the apparent murder of 20-year-old Randy Adomay Xol of Bella Vista, Toledo District earlier this morning.

Xol was found on an unnamed street near the junction with the Southern Highway between miles 43 and 44. He had a bruise to the right eye and stab wounds in the neck area.

Initial investigation reveals that sometime before midnight on Saturday, the deceased was seen socializing at a Chinese restaurant and thereafter he left and was not seen again until he was discovered by Police. Also found about 75 feet away from the body was an orange handle pocket folding knife with a blade measuring 3 1/2 inches in some grass with what is suspected to be blood on it.

Police continue their investigations.
