Four Belize City men arrested for gang affiliation

By Benjamin Flowers: Police have arrested and charged four Belize City men for gang affiliation.

On Wednesday, officers arrested 20-year-old Jaheed Shammar Baptist; 22-year-old Shawn Anthony Humes; 32-year-old Clifford Russel Anderson Jr.; and 24-year-old Enrique Bermudez, were all charged with being a member of a gang.

Being a member of a gang, or conducting activities for the furtherance of gang activity is prohibited under the Crime Control and Criminal Justice Act, Chapter 102 of the Laws of Belize.
