Belize City man busted with weed headed to trial

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 23-year-old man from Belize City will go to trial after being charged for having 23 grams of marijuana.

Steven Palma appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court yesterday, charged with a single count of possession of a controlled drug, to which he pleaded not guilty.

There was no objection to bail and it was offered to him in the sum of $500, plus one surety of the same.

Palma is due back in court on January 20, 2023.
