By Breaking Belize News Staff: A San Pedro man who was charged with sexually assaulting a minor has been granted bail.
Eric Hernandez Oliver, who had initially been denied bail at the Magistrate level, applied to the Supreme Court, and his application was heard by Justice Ricardo O’Neil Sandcroft.
Justice Sandcroft granted Oliver bail in the sum of $22,000 cash plus one surety of the same or 2 sureties of $11,000 each.
His bail came with the condition that he would have to sign in at a designated police station five times a week and cannot be seen in the presence of anyone under the age of 18.
Oliver stands accused of inappropriately touching the minor on December 25, 2022.
