International News: Ukraine to receive over $3 billion in air defense aid from U.S.

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The United States will unveil a new weapons aid package for Ukraine, Reuters report.

The air defense aid package is worth over $3 billion and will include Sea Sparrow missiles for air defense and Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

The missiles will assist in curbing Russian missile strikes on Ukraine.

In addition, the U.S. and Germany have committed to send Patriot missile systems to repel Russian missile and drone attacks.

Ukraine will reportedly receive about 50 armored Bradley fighting vehicles from the U.S.
