COVID report: New cases down to a handful

By Aaron Humes: The weekly COVID report from the Ministry of Health and Wellness shows COVID cases down to a handful at most.

17 new cases were reported over the past week; however, there are only 13 active cases countrywide.

There are no persons presently hospitalized and the number of total cases may take a while to reach 71 thousand – it is currently at 70,757 with 688 recorded deaths.

However, that does not mean that the threat has gone away and Belizeans are encouraged to remain on alert.
