By Aaron Humes: An office belonging to Police Prosecution Branch located in the parking lot behind the Old Treasury Building which housed the Magistrate’s and High Courts until its roof was torn off by Hurricane Lisa last November, was apparently broken into over the weekend.
The Department is reviewing inventory as the office was used primarily for storing supplies. Most of the rest of the Magistracy and High Court was relocated in order to allow for repairs to the building which has stood for decades.
An alert police officer chanced upon the building having its side door forced open, but a first check revealed nothing of value missing. Police investigations continue.
