Homeless man convicted of having crack pipe for second time in less than a month

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Forty-five-year-old Brian Enriquez was convicted for the second time in less than a month for having a crack pipe.

Enriquez appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Monday, charged with a single count of possession of utensil for smoking drugs, to which he immediately pleaded guilty.

He was fined $100 plus $5 cost of court which he must pay by May 30 or he will spend a month in prison.

He was convicted of the same offense three weeks ago on February 16. He was fined $80 for that offense and has until Thursday, April 6 to pay or he will spend a month in prison for defaulting.
