Murder reported again in Lake Independence

By Aaron Humes: Police sources say a Belize City man was shot dead, but his suspected killer reportedly did not escape without injury of his own.

Before 10 a.m. shots were heard on Police Street and then nearby on Ordonez Avenue. The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Adrian Pook of Ordonez Street who was pronounced dead at hospital before 10 a.m.

We understand that the suspect was allegedly stabbed by family members of the victim. His condition and whereabouts are not known at this time.

Police investigations continue.
