Calcutta Bulls, Sarteneja, Caledonia Saca, Carolina qualify for Corozal Football Association 1st Division Championship semifinals

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Corozal Football Association First Division Championship concluded its Regular Season with two games at the Carolina Football Field on Sunday.

In the opening match, the Calcutta Bulls and Caledonia Saca played to a scoreless draw.

The second game saw Sarteneja defeat Libertad FC 2-0. Libertad needed a win or a draw to advance to the semifinals, but they failed to do so.

The four teams that qualified for the semifinals are Calcutta Bulls (first place), Sarteneja (second place), Caledonia Saca (third place) and Carolina (fourth place).

Caledonia will match up against Carolina while Sarteneja will take on Caldeonia Saca next Sunday for a spot in the final.
