Governor-General welcomes new ambassadors to Belize

By Celeste Chang: On Monday at the Belize House, four new ambassadors presented their letters of credence to Governor-General Dame Froyla Tzalam.

The ambassadors are Soledad Morales Echeverria, Ambassador of Chile; Sidi Mohamad Omar, Ambassador of Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic; Lilybeth Rodriguez Deapara, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines; and Haytham Hassan Mohammed Al-Malki, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They all individually gave their greetings and spoke their desires to strengthen the bilateral and mutual relationships between Belize and their respective countries.

The Governor-General gave them a warm welcome on behalf of the Government and people of Belize. She wished the ambassadors well during their term and extended her hopes for continued cooperation with their respective governments.
