San Pedro Town to open September Celebrations next week with Street Festival

By Celeste Chang: September is one of the most festive times of year in Belize. It’s the time when Belizeans all come together to celebrate Belize. San Pedro Town Council has announced that they will have a street festival to kick off the September festivities.

The street fest will be taking place on Barrier Reef Drive. In the street fest they will be showcasing up and coming Djs and performers. The Town Council stated in its posts on Facebook “KICKSTART yuh Splinters. Dance Mashup It will be TOTAL DISORDER You don’t wanna miss out!!”

Come support your favorite booth as they will be competing against each other and you will be the judge. The festival begins at 6pm – until, on September 1, 2023.
