Belize Women’s National Team off to Bonaire, Aruba to play final two games in Concacaf W Road to Gold Cup

The Belize Women’s National Team (BWNT) are travelling to Bonaire and Aruba where they will play the final two games in the Concacaf W Road to Gold Cup League C. The team left on Sunday to Cancun, flew to Panama, and then made their way to Aruba where they arrived on Monday. They’ll overnight there and on Tuesday they’ll fly to Bonaire to play on Thursday. On Friday, they will return to Aruba where they will play next Monday.

Twelve points in the bag, the BWNT only need one point to finish tops in Group C and qualify to League next season.

So far, the BWNT have been dominant winning all their first four games scoring 14 while conceding none.

The BWNT first beat Aruba 2-0 on September 21 in Belmopan. They then dropped Bonaire 3-0 on September 25 in Belmopan as well. Next, they took down Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) 6-0 at TCI on October 26 and followed suit with a 3-0 win in the return match in Belmopan.

The BWNT’s will now close group play with the final two matches away. They’ll face Bonaire at the Stadion Antonio Trenidat in Rincon at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 30. They will then close against Aruba at the Guillermo P. Trinidad Stadium in Oranjestad at 1:00 pm  on Monday, December 4.
