Two injured in accident on Coastal Road

By Aaron Humes: Earlier this afternoon a traffic mishap was reported on the Coastal Road.

Reports from the area say a Chevrolet Silverado was travelling from La Democracia toward Sarawee village when a vehicle going in the opposite direction apparently swerved into them, then allegedly continued on without offering assistance.

The Silverado came to rest overturned on the right side of the road. There were three passengers inside, two of whom sustained what has been described as “serious injuries.”

Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution while traversing the road, which is in the finishing stages of construction.
