Remanded man escapes from Orange Walk holding cell

Wednesday, July 16, 2014. ORANGE WALK BUREAU Reporting: A man who was on remand and being held at the cell block at the Orange Walk police station has escaped.

Police are tight-lipped about the escape, but best information suggests that Matthew Bull somehow managed to escape from lawful custody.

Bull’s escape was discovered around 2 am on Tuesday, reportedly as a routine check of the cell block was being carried out.

He was charged for aggravated assault with a firearm committed against another Orange Walk resident.

While the police now look to recapture Bull, they are asking the public for assistance in locating him.
