Man accidentally shoots and kills brother while hunting

By BBN Staff:Yesterday Toledo police visited the Punta Gorda Hospital where officers saw Geraldo Cus, 31, a construction worker of Santa Elena, Cayo with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Investigations revealed that he and his younger brother Leonardo Cus, 22,  went hunting approximately ten miles outside of San Miguel at around 6:00 p.m.

They reportedly got separated at about 8:00 p.m.

Leonardo reportedly shot his brother by accident during the hunting trip.

At around 9:20 p.m., with the help of family members, Geraldo was transported to the Punta Gorda Hospital. He was later pronounced dead at 2:40 a.m.

Police investigations continue.
