By BBN Staff: According to police reports, on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 about 8:45 a.m., Placencia Police were called to the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship that was docked at Harvest Caye in southern Belize.
Security Officers reported that they found suspected drugs in a cabin on the ship occupied by Derson Frank, 30, of St. Vincent.
Frank was escorted to his cabin where a search conducted by police revealed the items to be controlled drugs.
During the investigation, police found out that two other men were involved, Renaldo Kerron Roberts of St. Vincent and Jamal Nathus Celise of St. Lucia.
Each package was weighed amounting to 1.065kg.
The men were charged with (2) counts of drug trafficking jointly and are presently remanded at the KOLBE Prison.
