PUP honors Centenarian Jane Usher

By BBN Staff: On Saturday, September 30, 2017, the People’s United Party (PUP) held their National Party Council in Belize City to celebrate the party’s 67th birthday.

As part of the celebration, the PUP honored and awarded members for their contribution to the party and community.

A Special Lifetime Service Award was given to Centenarian Jane Usher.

PUP Party Leader John Briceno explained that the award is to honor Usher’s lifelong service to Belize and to the PUP.

Usher was a valiant women who participated in the peaceful constructive Belizean revolution.

Usher’s son received the award on her behalf and expressed gratitude to the party.
